The Castaway Cafe Grab and Go

Sheer brilliance. Perfect coffee. My espresso was made with so much love that I could taste it. Amazing food.. I had sweet potato waffles. Ohemgee. Brilliant. Everything was topped off with the fabulous service from the happy staff. Everything was brought together by the lovely little alfresco dining area. Will definitely be back

The food is delicious and exciting, every ingredient of a dish shines through. I love the local craft and art on display and for sale. I can’t wait till we can dine in again, but in the meantime the view by the water will suffice! Sweet Potato Doughnuts & a long black to go please!

Nice place to drop in for a coffee and a snack at Jacobs Well. Nice courtyard outside the gift store and near the coffee cart. The coffee was very good, and the almond croissant very tasty. Sitting in the courtyard in the sun is a very pleasant experience on a Sunday morning, watching the weekend traffic and the Vintage cars cruising by.

Always great. This is an excellent cafe. A review of it appeared here, purportedly by me, which was somewhat critical. I want to make it quite clear that I love this spot. My family and I have visited many times and it is always a pleasant experience. In fact, I have never had a bad experience at Castaway. The food is good and the service excellent. Love it. Patrick

No matter what I buy at this cafe it tastes absolutely amazing. The service is friendly, touch of country and lovely to hear the staff call guests by their first name, shows that local community feeling. The setting up outside and inside is inviting and always, always clean and tidy. Menu serves the most hungry to the health conscious and presentation of food is exquisite!

This cafe is truely a hidden gem. I travel, past many cafes, just to come to this amazing piece of paradise. The delicious, healthy, mouth watering food is incredible. Their coffees and turmeric lattes are out of this world. The crew at Castaways are friendly, warm, inviting and accommodating. If you can’t find what you want on the menu - just ask. They will bend over backwards to ensure your needs are met. They also have beautiful, healthy, fresh take home meals that you can order. These meals have helped me lose weight with food that can’t be matched - anywhere. I take them to my work and I literally have to fight my colleagues off my lunch. This cafe is a credit to the area in such a convenient location. If you’re looking for all this AND with affordable prices, Castaways Cafe at Jacobs Well is the place to go. Stop in and say hello, have a bite to eat or grab a coffee on your way out for the day they will not disappoint you.

Great quaint and cute little cafe with an ever so cute coffee trailer on permanent display where they serve great coffees. The food is fresh and amazing and comes with great service. I hidden gem that must be visited when in the area.

Castaway Café is a delightful place, full of character, with a lovely atmosphere to it. The food is always very fresh and super tasty! They pay a lot of care and attention to their dishes and drinks, and their coffee is the best around. The staff are always very friendly and warm, and you can tell a lot of heart and soul is incorporated into everything they do. The sweet potato waffles are amazingly good and I love that they make all their own sauces/syrups for their menu items and drinks. Their menu is full of variety and each dish is nicely presented when it comes out to you. Just love Castaway!
